Jon is a Professional Geologist with over 23 years of experience conducting environmental and hydrogeologic investigations throughout the Western United States. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from California State University, Chico (Chico, CA). Jon joined Broadbent in 1998 where he spent approximately 22 years in our Las Vegas office before moving to San Antonio, TX in 2021 to manage that Broadbent office. Select experience for this clientele includes the performance of all aspects of environmental site investigations pertaining to contamination assessment, including: oversight of UST removal; site characterization; remediation; monitoring; waste characterization and disposal; preparation of various permit applications; and technical document preparation. His experience has allowed him to identify and develop solutions to environmental issues faced by a variety of clientele. He has worked effectively with major and independent oil companies; insurance companies; federal, state, and county agencies; industrial entities; municipalities; mining corporations; emergency response contractors; and various large- and small-scale businesses. Away from work Jon enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and cooking-preferably on fire. He is a member of the Nevada Water Resources Association (NWRA) Board of Directors and a member of the Water Environment Associates of Texas (WEAT) and South Texas Geological Society (STGS).
