Scott is a Professional Geologist and Certified Environmental Manager with over 27 years of experience conducting soil, water, and air investigations throughout the Western United States. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science (Geology Emphasis) from Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, AZ). He started with Broadbent in 1995 and has spent his entire professional career with the firm. He currently serves as a Principal Geologist, Corporate Vice President, and as manager of our Air/Stack Testing Division which he started in the late 1990s. He currently oversees a staff of 16 air quality professionals that perform emissions testing, ambient air monitoring, reporting, modeling, permitting, and compliance negotiation work with most air quality regulatory jurisdictions in the western United States. He manages the Broadbent Stack Testing Division that conducts performance testing on all forms of industrial equipment including: boilers, gas turbines, baghouses, wet scrubbers, diesel and natural gas engines, and hot mix asphalt processing equipment. He provides overall environmental consulting services to large industrial clients including airports, tank farms, power plants, municipal wastewater treatment authorities, mining operations, chemical production plants, manufacturing facilities, hotel/casino complexes, aggregate mineral processing facilities, and petroleum retailers. When away from work, Scott enjoys whitewater rafting, skiing, camping, traveling, and generally having fun with everyone around him.
