Broadbent is more than just an environmental consulting firm operating in the western United States. We are also an active business and active individuals striving to be part of our communities where we live and work through volunteerism and financial donations to various non-profit organizations.
A recent example of this is Broadbent’s participation in the 2nd Annual Safe Embrace Trees & Lights Gala in our local community of Reno, NV. Safe Embrace provides services to victims of domestic and sexual
violence and the Gala raised funds to support an emergency shelter expansion project. The Broadbent – Reno team worked together to design a themed Christmas tree titled, “Truckee River Wonderland.” Of course, our enthusiasm in the work we do was expressed quite decoratively throughout the tree, using many unique ornaments kindly donated by our Broadbent employees. Broadbent was among many participants who helped Safe Embrace achieve their project funding goal. The emergency shelter expansion project is expected to commence after the New Year. Upon its completion, twice as many victims in need of a safe house, along with their children and pets, will receive free services and support. We are proud to have been a part of this effort.
