Josh is a Professional Geologist and Certified Environmental Manager with 28 years of environmental site characterization, hydrogeology, and remediation experience. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He joined Broadbent in 2016, after having worked 20 years in the environmental consulting field as a field geologist, project manager, and client account manager. He currently serves as an Associate Geologist managing abandoned mine lands assessments, chlorinated solvent investigations, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) sampling projects. With a strong background managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects for local, state, and federal government and private sector clients, Josh is adept at managing project scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder interaction. Josh has experience managing soil, soil gas, and groundwater investigations utilizing multiple drilling methods and performing assessment and remediation of chlorinated organic solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, PFAS, and metals. He is effective and efficient at problem solving and navigating complex and challenging project circumstances; both clients and regulatory agencies appreciate his effectiveness and professionalism. Away from work, Josh enjoys spending time with family and friends, and pursuing quiet mountain sports on snow, dirt, and water.
