Scott is a Professional Engineer and Certified Environmental Manager with more than 25 years of professional experience conducting environmental engineering investigations throughout western United States. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources Engineering from California State University, Humboldt. He joined Broadbent in 1997 where he has spent his entire professional career and where he currently serves as an Associate Engineer. His experience has prepared him to identify and develop cost-effective solutions for a large variety of environmental, engineering, and project management challenges. He works effectively with major and independent oil companies; federal, state, and local agencies; national trucking and travel centers; mining companies; school districts; municipalities; industrial operations; and numerous large and small businesses. Specific technical expertise includes preparation and/or review and engineer-approval of numerous Spill Prevention Countermeasure and Control (SPCC) Plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Chemical Accident Prevention Program applications, Effluent Management Plans, and preparation of multiple, detailed, engineered, remediation system designs for soil, ground and surface water contamination, and air pollution controls. Away from work Scott enjoys traveling, gardening, music, and movies.
